That would be the donors and people like you who have our respect. For a grass root level advocacy to work an organization has to be made up of grass root worker. Grass root workers are the people at the bottom of totem pole. In our case that would be EB3 workers now we all know that EB2 workers when they get their green card dissapear from the forum and leaves the EB3 guys to carry the burden (case in point PAPPU the admin who is the only admin i see on the forum since he is eb3) . So finally we are left to handle the IV Movement movind forward. Now if i was an organizer of a movement i would make sure that all the points made by the organisation is directed towards allaying the concern of people who have been impacted most by retrogration (BTW that would be Eb3 guys and not EB23 who by their god given right have first preference over everything and wil get residency soon because they are a preffered catefgory).

My H1B transfer is pending at California Srvice Centre since Sep 26, 2006 and my current employer has completed the green card process prior to file PERM application. Is it possible to file PERM application while H1B Transfer is pending?

I just returned from an INFOPASS appointment for checking up on my case status.
Their systems were down! They could not access any records, and the IO kept saying that it's down and you should get a decision in a few months.
I was adamant, and asked her if it's possible to reach someone else at NSC - she called asked about my status - she kept saying, "good, good", and then she turns around and says that my case is approved :D:D:D, and that if I don't get my card in the next 30 days, (the usual stuff!). She then made a remark to the person from NSC that these guys know more about their cases than we do - as we go to the IO with all sorts of information about the VB.
I made sure that they verified my current address, as I had bought a house and moved about a year back, but wanted to make sure that the address was updated after filing the AR-11 back then.
So, the important lesson learnt was that cases are being approved, but the online systems are not being updated.
Just hold on... It's on it's way. Will provide an update once I get the cards.

PERM approved in EB2 today after 4.5 months...now I'm officially EB2 and in the long wait line. Glad that my PERM got approved.
Congrats on your approval. My EB-2 PD is Mar 30th 2010, still waiting...What were the minimum requirements on your PERM.

I wonder how much power these committees have. It is clear from her letter that DOS/DHS chose not to respond to her or send her any info and defy her request to continue accepting AOS applications until she had a chance to review the matter closely. Committee has the subpoena power to force the document release and hold hearing but if DOS/DHS ignore her letter again, I wonder what would she do.
I guess the deadline is tomorrow so we'll see how this unfolds.

So before you start one of your long drawn essays again, step back and THINK (which you do not seem to be doing at all..or are not capable of doing) about whether you are contributing even one bit to solving the problem or trying to add to the problem. we can do a lot more if we spend less time trying to drill sense into wayward people like you.

I forgot to attach the G-1145 for electronic notification of acceptance of the EAD applications. However I have sent checks. Is there any way to send the G-1145.. or it does not make any difference whether you send those forms?

you can send separately. On other forums I read that somebody receiving emails... but it emails doesn't arrive in 24hrs.... as the form mentions...
I guess you can just wait for checks to cash and then get RN from back of it.....

1) H1b extension and visa stamping by post (very very essential)
2) Reinstate premium processing for I-140 (very urgent)
2) Preventing wastage and recapture of visa numbers (atleast atempt)
3) I cannot buy a house because of uncertainity
4) WE TEND TO SAVE MORE AND SPEND LESS WHEN THIS UNCERTAINITY PREVAILS. and lot of us have tremendous spending capability (cars, houses, tourism etc)
5) Canada and Europe needs me and lot of US educated/skilled people, so please USE us BETTER.

I filed for my wife's EAD in the late May (e-file TSC).
Receipt date is May 29th.
Soft LUD on June 6th
FP done on June 21st
no updates, no changes after that. there is no LUD after FP. It's been 66 days since filed. Does any one know if I can take Infopass appointement before I complete 90 days of pending status and see what's going on? Or do I have to wait until 90 days are complete? any experiences?

Lasantha, I have a similar profile like yours except for my PD will become current in May and I-485 was filed July 2nd. My question to you is that did you call the service center to inquire about your status, and that triggered approval.

i am on h-4 visa,and my i94 is expired more than 180 days,i.e my husband had i-94 till cotober 2007,but the port of entry stamped on my passport upto2006 october,we dint no about i-94 until we had seenit,it expired more than 180 days,our attorny said to extend it but it has already expired,so we thought to go local uscis and request about the case,we were really teansed about that,next morning we went to local uscis office , the officer was really good person ,just he took my husbands i-94 and my i-94 ,and changed the form with my husbands i-94 untill 2007 oct,by gods grace every thing goes well,so if anybody has the similar problem on h-4 visa just go to local uscis office and explain the problem to the officer.

My logic is, they know LOT(thousands) of PPL will be filing. I think they must have a plan. Cause I don't think they opened the gate to reject the applications. There must be a plan.
noone can predist USCIS.....on ly pray that they do not retrogress on July5th..like they did for EB3_OTHER category on June 5th.
